My name is Chelsea, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times our family has faced.
My son, Tyler, is 29 years old and recently had to undergo emergency open heart surgery to remove a very large blood clot measuring 14 inches that was tangled through his heart and lungs. It was sudden, terrifying, and completely unexpected. As a parent, there is nothing more frightening than watching your child go through something so serious. We are incredibly grateful that he received the life-saving care he needed, but the experience has been overwhelming in every way.
Tyler is a single dad with shared 50/50 custody of his four beautiful children, and they mean everything to him. Right now, his focus should be on healing and getting back to his kids—but instead, we are facing the heavy stress of mounting medical bills.
Unfortunately, Tyler does not qualify for Medicaid, which leaves us responsible for the full cost of his hospital stay, the emergency procedure, and the ongoing aftercare he now needs during his recovery. These medical expenses are significant and continue to grow, putting a heavy financial strain on our family. We are asking for help during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward Tyler’s medical bills and the care he needs to heal and regain his strength. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this campaign would mean the world to us.
Please also keep Tyler in your prayers as he continues to fight, heal, and recover.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can offer. Your kindness and generosity truly mean more than words can express. With gratitude, Chelsea
