If you know us, you know just how much our cats mean to us. They are our entire world.
Our baby, Tyler, ingested a long piece of string from off of a balloon last night. Normally, animals who ingest foreign objects are able to pass them but in cats especially, this specific type of object poses a very significant threat.
What Tyler now has is a life-threatening condition called gastrointestinal obstruction due to linear foreign body. He has to undergo emergency surgery tonight and be exposed to X-rays and other scans and blood-work. The gastrotomy, scans, hospitalization, sedation, and overnight hospital stay is costing us thousands of dollars that we don't have as students, even though we work full-time on top of school. We have been given an extremely generous grant from an organization connected to the veteranarian in order to cover some of the cost but still need to make up for a good portion so we can still pay our rent and save our best buddy.
If you have the means at all to help out a little gay couple just trying to doing their best, please PLEASE consider donating even just a dollar or sharing my campaign. We just want our little baby to live.
