This is Tyler.
Tyler is my rock-n-roll older cousin that fully embraces the beauty of the world and shares it with everyone through his music, camera work, and stellar start-up ambition.
Unfortunately, 2 years ago, Tyler fell ill with an unexplained sickness.
Over the past couple of years, Tyler has had an uphill battle against an ever-growing list of symptoms that left him with few answers after countless doctor consultations. During this period, Tyler had to leave behind jobs and hobbies no longer accessible due to his health and missed out on opportunities he otherwise could have pursued. This worsened in the COVID-19 crisis as Tyler was furloughed from his job, lost his health insurance, and breaks between symptoms lessened and lessened.

Earlier this year, we put a name to the face: insulinoma.
After a rollercoaster of emotions, a specialist was finally able to put a name to the pain that Tyler was experiencing. He had a 10 mm insulinoma, a tumor in the pancreas, that needed to be removed as soon as possible. Tyler has had multiple procedures and surgeries, removing large parts of organs, and faced complications at every turn.
At the time of writing, Tyler has been in the hospital for 29 days.
Tyler is a strong individual who has overcome so much in the past few years as he struggled for answers, help, and recovery. He is so selfless and would help anyone in a heartbeat; funding for medical expenses, medications, physical therapy, and livelihood bills would be incredibly helpful in removing some of the burdens off of his shoulders. Additionally, they would be a tremendous help for the family members taking off work or responsibilities to care for Tyler during this chapter of his story.

Thank you.
