Help Tyler and Kathy Through This Tough Time

Please help Tyler and Kathy by lifting some of the upcoming financial burden off of them while Tyler (who is self-employed) is out of work recovering from this horrific accident he encountered on 12/2/24.

Tyler was involved in a horrible accident on Monday, December 2nd, 2024. As Tyler was getting into his truck to go pick his daughter up after school, his pistol fell, hit the seat in the truck, and shot him in the stomach. Tyler was taken by ambulance from his home, where he lives with his wife Kathy and daughter Liana, to Greene Co. Hospital and then life-flighted to USA in Mobile, AL.

Once he arrived at USA, Tyler underwent a 6-hour surgery where they had to remove 12 cm of his colon, part of his large intestine, along with additional repairs to other organs the bullet damaged. Along with the organ damage, the bullet also broke his left hip (at this time they have not addressed it, waiting to see if it will heal on its own) and the bullet is still lodged in his left butt cheek.

At this time, we are unsure how long he will be hospitalized. Once Tyler is released, he will still have a long road to recovery before he is able to return to everyday life.

For anyone that knows Tyler and Kathy y’all know they would give the shirt off their backs to help anyone. Now it’s our time to step up and help them. There’s gonna be a lot of Gas and food and traveling and time off work for Kathy to care for Tyler in his recovery.
