Help Tyler & Karli with tragic loss of their Mom

This is something I’ve never done, nor would ever think about doing, but I just don’t know what to do. My husband and I are helping as much as we can. The emotional support, we hope, is enough; just wish we could do more financially to help Tyler and Karli during and after the loss of their mom. I’m raising money for Tyler & Karli to help them with any basic financial, medical, and mental health needs, as we work towards the healing process.

Tyler and his mom were evicted out of their home and their vehicle was repossessed right before she was hospitalized. They have all endured so much throughout their lives, that my husband and I have seen. Their living conditions were not great due to their mom’s mental health and physical health issues for quite some time. She definitely kept the severity of it hidden from her kids so they wouldn’t worry, especially Karli because she has a pacemaker too. Elise was their only rock and gave them so much love!

Their dad has been emotionally and financially unavailable for a very long time. My husband and I have seen these two kids grow up and have helped as much as we can; you could say we are their godparents, but you can tell they feel so alone right now.

No amount of money is going to make the loss of their mom any easier, but it will help in any financial burden and mental health issues they may have during this difficult time and thereafter. My heart breaks for these two strong, wonderful kids to have to make the most difficult hospital decisions and all the arrangements for their mom’s funeral with still no dad!

Elise Dedmon’s services will be at 12:00 pm on February 15th (Tyler’s birthday) at Page Baptist Church, 55918 US Highway 59, Heavener, Oklahoma 74937. Any contribution will help, even if it’s $1.00.
