Hi, my name is Tylen Lockley, and I am a recent graduate of Southern University and A&M College where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, graduating Cum Laude with a 3.54 GPA. Reaching this milestone took years of dedication, resilience, and hard work, and I am incredibly proud of how far I have come.

I am now preparing to take the next step in my journey by enrolling in the University of Southern California’s MSW One-Year Program, where I will continue pursuing my passion for advocacy, service, and social justice.

Throughout my undergraduate career, I have been deeply involved in leadership roles, community service, and hands-on work with vulnerable populations. I have dedicated my time to supporting individuals and families facing housing insecurity, food insecurity, and other systemic barriers. I have also worked closely with children, veterans, and community members through service-based and professional experiences that strengthened my commitment to becoming a licensed social worker.

Unfortunately, I am facing an unexpected financial obstacle. Due to unexpected added fees, my student account now carries a $5,000 balance, and without assistance, I will be unable to continue my education this year.
