My 22 year old niece, Tykeedra Henderson, was tragically killed in her car at a gas station in Kansas City, Missouri on July 4, 2024. Unfortunately, she was victim of a random shooting. Despite the circumstances of her death, she is remembered as a girl that loved life, her family, and her friends.

Tykeedra leaves behind her mother (Leyana), brother, two younger sisters, and a host of family and friends who loved her more than anything. Although Tykeedra was a type 1 diabetic, she had her whole life ahead of her. She had a desire to go to school to become a radiology technician, which she was going to pursue this fall.

This GoFundMe will help the family offset the expenses of Tykeedra’s unexpected death. Unfortunately, the family was not prepared for this tragedy.
