My name is Tyeshia Collins, and I am 30 years old. A few months ago, my life changed without warning. I suffered a severe seizure that caused me to collapse and hit my head. My injuries were catastrophic. I spent two weeks in a coma, suffered significant memory loss, broke my windpipe, and lost more than 30 pounds because I was unable to eat. For two terrifying weeks, my family did not know whether I would survive. Even my doctors could not say whether I would regain my memory or fully recover. By God’s grace, I woke up—but my journey was far from over. I spent nearly two months in the hospital, followed by another month in rehabilitation. I am still attending appointments, receiving therapy, taking medication, and working every day to rebuild my strength, memory, and independence. While I was fighting for my life, the bills continued to pile up. Because I could not work, I lost my apartment and my vehicle. In addition to overwhelming medical expenses, I am now facing the financial consequences of an eviction and car repossession—all because of a medical emergency I never saw coming. I am raising $3,000 to help address the expenses connected to losing my home and transportation while I continue recovering and working toward stability. These funds will help me take the first critical steps toward rebuilding my life and getting back on my feet. I survived something doctors could not promise I would recover from. Now, I am asking for help surviving the aftermath. Any donation—whether it is $5, $10, $20, or more—will make a meaningful difference. No amount is too small. When many people give what they can, even a little becomes life-changing. Please consider donating and sharing my story with your friends, family, coworkers, churches, community groups, and social-media networks. Even if you are unable to donate, one share could place my story in front of someone who can help. Thank you for reading my story, praying for me, sharing this fundraiser, and supporting me during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. Every donation and every share brings me one step closer to stability, independence, and a fresh start. With heartfelt gratitude, Tyeshia Collins
