Help Us Reboot Teaching While White!
The Teaching While White podcast continues to challenge assumptions, confront bias, and support educators doing the difficult and detailed work of anti-racism. But we can’t keep going without your help.
With over 40,000 listeners—students, educators, and parents —we’ve created a powerful community. Until now, our paid work subsidized the podcast and our efforts to reach practitioners and learners. At this point, the space for funding even that work is shrinking daily. Under the current administration and political climate, we can no longer sustain the podcast on our own, yet it remains the most cost-effective and efficient way to continue to reach educators and families, while responding to the challenges of the day.
Since the very beginning ,we’ve volunteered our time and funded production ourselves—because we believe in honest conversations about race, whiteness, and education, and no other podcast is filling that particular need. Now, as new policies aim to silence these stories and label them “divisive,” the need for TWW is more urgent than ever. Teachers are under immense pressure, and students are losing.
We’re raising funds to relaunch the Teaching While White podcast so we can:
•Produce high-quality episodes consistently
•Hire a skilled producer and secure studio time
·•Support partner educators across the country
·•Expand our reach and deepen our impact
•Build sustainability for the future
Educators tell us that TWW gives them space, community, and tools to keep going. Help us make sure they’re not alone. We cannot be silent. Your support ensures TWW remains a vital, growing resource for equity-driven educators.
Please donate and share. TWW is a project of Eastern Education Resource Collaborative, a nonprofit—your gift is tax-deductible.
Every dollar, every voice, every action matters!
With gratitude,
Jenna, Liza & Elizabeth
