We are a Japanese family living in Byron Bay, Australia. Our kids were born and raised here in Byron Bay!
Our two sons, Aoi aged 12 and Asahi 10, are passionate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes. After years of hard training, they will compete in the 2025 IBJJF Pan Kids tournament — one of the world’s biggest events for young Jiu-Jitsu athletes, held in Florida, USA.
This is a huge opportunity and a dream come true for our family.
Meet the Brothers:
• Aoi Yaguchi (12): Orange belt.
Calm, strategic, and focused in every match
• Asahi Yaguchi (10): Yellow belt.
A fearless fighter with an undefeated record in official matches
They train at The Academy Byron Bay!!
Recent Achievements:
• 2024 Australian Champion
• 2024 QLD State Champion
• 2025 Tokyo International Champion
• 2025 NSW State Champion
But as you can imagine, the costs to attend this world tournament are high.
We are asking for your kind support to help cover:
• Flights and transport
• Accommodation
• Tournament fees
• Gear and equipment
• Other travel expenses
