Over the last two years me and my girlfriend Lydia have been trying to find stable housing, but have been lead along and fucked over at every turn. We’ve moved all across the country just trying to find somewhere to live. Finally we’ve ended up in Philly, and thanks to an incredibly gracious gal, we’re renting an apartment on our own for the first time. However, we are out of money. Completely.

We have run through savings, and racked up credit card debt trying to make any attempt at gaining independence work. We try to ask for help as little as possible, but we don’t have another choice. Rent is due this week.

To add to everything, my girlfriend’s physical health is also falling apart. She has been battling with anorexia for 7 years, and is disabled because of it.

Right now we just need money as a stop gap till she can start getting medical treatment to regain some independence, and get me back into work and eventually schooling.
