We’re Tori and Millie, two trans girls currently living in Georgia. Over the past several months, things seem to have been getting progressively worse and worse, and we need to get money or we don’t know what will happen. I don’t even really know where to start. After living in Washington for a while, I (Tori) had to move back in with my mom in Georgia because her condition had greatly worsened. She has cancer, stage four. It’s a rare kind, I don’t know exactly what it’s called but it’s in her face, I think in some sort of gland, and treatment is expensive and difficult. I think the tumor itself is gone, but I’ve never seen her in worse shape. She’s terribly thin, much moreso than when I left for Washington, and can hardly even move. If I had known this would have happened, I never would have left. She’s currently in the hospital, where they’ve had to drain her left lung of fluid that was keeping her from breathing properly. We already can’t afford any of the medical bills that have been piling up, and nobody here is making any income. Any place to work is too far to walk, and we can’t drive. On top of that, my father, who is an evil, evil man, has a life insurance policy taken out on my mom, and is also planning to sell this house, leaving us without any place to live. We may be able to move in with a friend, but everything is uncertain.

We also need to get money to continue our HRT. In Washington, it was completely covered by our state insurance, but since we’re in Georgia now, it won’t be. We’re running very low on our medication, and need to be able to continue our gender-affirming care.

My father just came to the house. Despite pleading with him, he isn’t going to budge. As soon as my mother dies, arrangements for the sale of the house are going to begin. It will take a while and a lot of money, but the fact of the matter is, our time here is limited. We can’t move in with our friend, and I don’t know if any family members will accept both me and my girlfriend, which we can’t accept. The doctors have also said that there’s nothing they can do, and my mom is being discharged from the hospital so she can die at home in comfort. We don’t know what to do. Please, please donate or share if you can. We need a place to stay, desperately.

We are currently looking for a place to stay. We still don’t have the money though, so we need all the help we can get.

We’ve been looking for temporary places to stay like extended stay hotels in case we don’t get enough money to stay in an actual apartment, or are unable to for any other reason. Since the last update, my mom was discharged, but her condition has gotten much worse. She can’t speak anymore and seems barely conscious most of the time. It breaks our hearts to see her like this. The moment she’s gone, my dad is going to take advantage, and that sickens me to my core.
