We are Raed and Sara, a young couple from Gaza. Our story is long and full of struggles, but the most important part is that we held on to each other despite everything. We went through so many hardships just to be together, and when our love finally won and we were ready to start our life together, the war began and changed everything.

We lost everything… the home that was supposed to be our future, my family’s house, Raed’s family’s house, our belongings, our savings, and even our dreams. It feels like our happiness was stolen from us, and we can no longer dream like other young people do.

Today, both of us are displaced. I live with my family in a tent, and Raed lives with his family in another displacement camp. Our life has become a daily struggle against hunger, fear, and cold. We once dreamed of a small home to start our life together, and now our biggest dream is simply to find food and a safe place to live.

Sara is 25 years old, passionate about the English language, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. Raed is 26, very smart and ambitious, a graduate in Accounting who used to work in a company that was destroyed in the war. Step by step, we were building our future, but everything collapsed in front of us.

We are not asking for much—we are only asking for a chance. A chance to live with dignity and to continue the dream that was taken from us. Your support, no matter how small, can bring us hope again and give us the strength to keep going.

نحن رائد وسارة، خطيبان من غزة. قصتنا طويلة ومليئة بالمعاناة، لكن أهم ما فيها إننا تمسكنا ببعض رغم كل الصعوبات. مررنا بظروف صعبة جدًا لحتى نقدر نكون مع بعض، وعندما انتصر حبنا وأخدنا قرار نبدأ حياتنا سوا، اندلعت الحرب وغيّرت كل شيء.

خسرنا كل شيء… البيت اللي كان المفروض يكون بيت مستقبلنا، بيت عائلتي وبيت عائلة رائد، ممتلكاتنا، أموالنا، وحتى أبسط أحلامنا. كأن الفرح انسرق منا، وما عدنا قادرين نحلم مثل باقي الشباب.

اليوم إحنا لتنين نازحين. أنا مع عائلتي في خيمة، ورائد مع عيلته في خيمة بمنطقة نزوح ثانية. حياتنا صارت عبارة عن صراع يومي مع الجوع والخوف والبرد. كنا نحلم ببيت صغير يجمعنا، واليوم أقصى أحلامنا إنو نلاقي أكل ومكان آمن نعيش فيه.

سارة عمرها 25 سنة، بتحب اللغة الإنجليزية ودرست بكالوريوس آداب إنجليزي. رائد عمره 26 سنة، ذكي وطموح، خريج بكالوريوس محاسبة وكان بيشتغل في شركة انهدمت بالحرب. كنا بنبني مستقبلنا خطوة خطوة، لكن كل شي انهار قدام عيونا.

إحنا مش بنطلب كتير، إحنا بس بدنا فرصة. فرصة نعيش بكرامة، ونرجع نكمل حلمنا اللي توقف. دعمكم، مهما كان صغير، ممكن يرجعلنا الأمل ويخلينا نقدر نكمل.
