Help two single mothers save their business.

Hi we are Daniela and Jennifer the owners of Body Evolution Fitness LLC. We have created this fundraiser in hopes that it will help us save our business. On 11/9/2021 we received the devastating news that we will be getting forced out of our current location.

 

We started our business by holding fitness bootcamps at a local park in August of 2019, we officially became Body Evolution Fitness LLC in October of that same year. From October 2019 through the beginning of March 2020, pre-pandemic, we both juggled full time jobs, parenting, and putting 100 percent into our business so that it will strive. Pandemic hits and everything gets shut down and we immediately panic, mortified by the thought of completely losing it all before it even had a chance to blossom. With our dreams of running our very own fitness business at stake like many others we decided to take the business online. On May 21, 2020 my son’s father lost his battle with mental health, he died by means of suicide. With the trauma that brought upon my son and the constant childcare complications Jennifer and I faced we knew that soon we would have to figure out a better way to care for our children both financially, and emotionally.

 

June 2020, we started working on our fitness studio so that we would be able to offer 1 to 1 training services as a means of generating additional income while also creating a space to help us cope through an extremely difficult time. We put our sweat and tears, literally into our studio wanting nothing but the best for our clients. As it was for most 2020 brought upon us the darkest, most trying times full of grief, anxiety, and fear, BE FIT STUDIO became a safe haven for so many including Jennifer and I. The work we did and continue to do has helped us as well as our clients get through the worst and most trying times.

 

In March 2021, I made a choice to take a leap of faith resign from my job to pursue the business full time and Jennifer soon followed. We found a sense of balance within running the business and being more present for our children then we have ever been able to in our past careers. Leaving our jobs was difficult and scary, as single mothers with only our income to rely on playing it safe seemed like the right thing to do, but after dealing with so much grief during the pandemic we didn't want safe we wanted happiness.

 

Fast Forward, 11/9/2021 we receive devastating news once again, we are being forced out of our location. The studio  we worked so hard for and dedicated so much time and effort to, is soon to not be. This establishment is so much more then a Fitness Studio this has become our home away from home, it’s a safe haven, an escape from dark days, a therapeutic place where our clients come to work on their physical and mental health. We have to save our business, this is how we care for our children, keep a roof over their heads, clothed and fed. We have poured everything into Body Evolution Fitness and all we ask is you help us survive. The funds will go towards the expense of relocating and remodeling.
