Help a disabled lesbian move out

UPDATE #3/FINAL: As of today I am halting new donations. Thank you so, so much to everyone who has donated up to this point or who has helped me in any way. My health has still been on the decline and my family’s financial situation is rough right now, so even if we did meet the current goal there’s no way my sister and I would be able to sustain living on our own right now. I’m very tired from battling more than a year of post-clot and multiple other covid complications and it’s too mentally taxing for me to continue campaigning for myself, but all the donations that have been received so far will be safely kept away in a savings account, and my sister will continue to try and find a more stable source of income so we can have a better future. Again, thank you so much to everyone for what you’ve done to help us.

UPDATE #2: I got covid again as of Feburary 2025, this was right after I stopped taking blood thinner medication from the previous pulmonary embolism and it has set me back a lot. This is my 4th known infection overall.
RECENT UPDATE: At the start of October I was diagnosed with a blood clot in my lung, so this is even more urgent now as I try to recover from it.

I need help securing funds for rent and other necessities so my sister and I can move out of our household + find an apartment and new living situation.

I am disabled with an autoimmune disease among other physical health issues. We currently live with our relatives and none of them take any covid precautions anymore. We're both being constantly put at risk by them, and my health took a rapid decline since my first covid infection in 2022 and it developed into long covid. This summer in 2024 I got infected again and it’s difficult for me to safely try to recover with our family putting us at risk. We want to move out and try to avoid more infections as much as possible.

I also have an abusive and controlling mother who has given me a lot of trauma over the years, and living under the same roof as her is very detrimental to my mental health. And if we were able to move out, I would be able to start seeking gender-affirming care and a legal name change - I live with transphobic family members and cannot be out as trans or start transition while in this house. I want to be able to both begin my healing from the trauma of my mother's abuse and also be able to safely live as myself as a trans person.

It would mean the world to us if you could help us! Thank you for reading!
