I’ve spent the last 10 seasons playing professional basketball, and 5 of those seasons were in Tbilisi, Georgia. During my time there, I saw firsthand just how many street dogs are struggling every day and decided to take action. Since 2020, I brought 2 Georgian street dogs to the US and adopted both. Most recently, in the Spring I brought Lady, a cocker spaniel, into the family.

But I can’t stop there. Now, I have my sights set on two street dog sisters who I was taking care of this past winter. So, my goal is to sponsor their journey to America, where they can finally have the chance at a safe, loving home. These two girls are currently being cared for in foster in Tbilisi while they prepare for travel, and I’m doing everything I can to find them the right home together here in America. 

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward the care they need before they can make that journey, including their vet visits, blood tests, vaccinations, food, shelter, and flight to America. I’ll be documenting each step along the way on Instagram @bellasrescue_intl so everyone can follow their progress.
