We are two young, disabled, queer folks from the Global South living through a crisis situation. Here is our story:

A & S, two Black trans people, have recently been dropped into precarity after the violent withdrawal of a safety net that was the only stable income alongside their multiple part-time jobs. A & S are both disabled and immunocompromised, preventing them from commuting or on-site work. They are currently awaiting payment for work/projects that will not be accessible until the end of June. They are asking for $3000USD in total, broken down into categories based on their everyday living expenses until June. The majority of the ask will be going towards A&S staying safely housed, especially during the current housing crisis.
