I’m a trans domestic violence survivor, traveling cross-country with my dog, Dakota, and my partner, Coraline - trying to make it out just to survive.

Three years ago, I escaped an abusive home with nothing but my life, my dog, and two cats. Since then, I’ve lived in DV shelters, motels, and my car. Last year, when Coraline became homeless too, we started living in the car together—until weather and worsening health made it impossible.

We’ve been staying with loved ones, but that’s no longer an option.

We’re out of time, and our bodies and minds are worn thin.

I have ehlers danlos syndrome, endometriosis, other chronic illnesses, and increasing mobility issues. I’m getting a wheelchair and I need a stable home and a caretaker.

I’d love to bring my cats over too once we’re settled there.

Coraline is also dealing with worsening health, including mobility issues. We need to get stable to allow our bodies to heal.

We’re not just trying to start over—we’re trying to stay alive.

We’ve planned a cross-country move to somewhere safer… but we still have nowhere to go.

We’ve worked hard to plan this carefully:

• A toll-free route across the country

• Camping to keep lodging costs low

• Dakota is fully supplied and ready

• Our budget is down to the essentials

cant make the cats work without a lots of extra help

But we can’t do this alone.
