Help Two Pedestrians Heal After a Devastating Accident

On 10/28/24 Alla, a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, and pillar of the Needham and Boston communities, was involved in a devastating accident that changed her life in an instant.

Alla and a close friend were out enjoying a peaceful evening stroll down the street she’s lived on for years when tragedy struck. The two were pedestrians and were struck by a car. The incident was a hit and run. The driver initially fled the scene, hours later they turned themselves in. Sadly, it was revealed that the driver was uninsured, leaving Alla and her friend with mounting medical bills and a future full of uncertainty.

Both victims sustained severe, life-altering, permanent injuries. Both have undergone multiple surgeries with possibly more on the horizon.

Both victims injuries will take years to heal, and both will have permanent disabilities.

Both victims are still in the hospital and require extensive medical treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term care.

Alla has been a dedicated and compassionate member of the Needham, Massachusetts community for over 20 years. As a daughter to her elderly mother that she takes care of, a mother of three, and a grandmother to a 5-month-old baby, she has always prioritized her family. In fact, her daughter’s wedding was held right in Alla’s backyard, a testament to her deep roots in the community she loves.

For 18 years, Alla has operated an adult day care in Boston, where she has been a steady source of care, compassion, and support for the elderly. Her dedication to her work and the community is unwavering, but now, due to her injuries, she cannot work. To ensure that the adult day care continues to operate and support its clients, they are forced to hire someone to replace her full-time role.
