Our family is asking for help during an incredibly difficult time.

Two of our grandmothers, Sarah Kay and Brenda Brown, have experienced catastrophic flooding at Atcitty Camp in Bluff, Utah, leaving them facing the overwhelming challenge of recovering and figuring out how to move forward.

Two years ago, our family experienced the unexpected loss of my aunt, Brendyna Holmes. Since her passing, our two grandmothers have stepped up to raise her six children, providing them with love, stability, and a home despite the hardships they have already faced. They have carried so much responsibility while doing everything they can to care for these children and keep their family together.

The flooding has now left both households a total loss. Between the two homes, 11 people, including 7 children, have been impacted by this devastating disaster. Both families have lost their homes and belongings, including clothing and other everyday necessities.

Even before the flooding, finances were already stretched thin. Our grandmothers were doing everything they could to provide for their family while navigating the loss of Brendyna and raising her children. Now, they are facing another unimaginable hardship, with the added burden of finding shelter, replacing basic necessities, and figuring out how to recover from the devastating losses.

We are asking for your support to help ease some of this burden. Donations will go toward flood recovery, clothing, essential supplies, housing needs, and other expenses associated with helping both households get back on their feet. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a difference as these families navigate this difficult time.

If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean just as much to our family.

Our grandmothers have already endured so much while caring for their family. They have continued to show up for these children through unimaginable loss, doing everything they can to provide love, stability, and support. Now, they need support themselves. We hope to come together as a community to help these two households begin rebuilding and remind them that they do not have to face this hardship alone.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers, and support. Every donation, share, and act of kindness means more than words can express. On behalf of the Atcitty Family from Bluff, thank you for standing with our family during this incredibly difficult time.
