help a south asian trans femme lesbian and their queer international roommate pay off their first semester of college!!

hi, i'm sabirah. i’m raising money on behalf of my two fgli friends in dire financial situations. both of them intend on rooming together when the fall semester begins. they are living in unsupportive households with parents who are not paying for their colleges expenses or medical expenses.

i also wanted to introduce my friends to you; a south asian trans femme lesbian who intends to major in environmental biology and an international queer woc planning to major in human rights. they are both dorming together so they can finally seek a safe and healing environment both professionally and socially. staying at home for both of them is not an option because they both come from abusive and unsafe households.

this fund is also time sensitive considering their tuition is due the first week of august. barnard has not cooperated with their situation at all. they need $15,000 to cover colleges/medical expenses together for the first semester. they are both active members in their community. please show up for them.
