Help two brothers both beat cancer and support their families.

Over the last year, within just a few months of each other, two of my kindest cousins (who happen to be brothers) were both diagnosed with late stages of cancer.

Seyer; 40, went to the doctor for what he assumed to be a standard sinus infection. After multiple rounds of unsuccessful antibiotics, a more intensive look was taken. Our lives flipped upside when we learned he was fighting an extremely rare Stage 4 Sphenoid Sinus Carcinoma. Battling with the cancer for almost a year now, it has metastasized down to into his organs. Seyer is determined to fight with every single breath he takes. He is a loving son, brother, husband and father of 3 beautiful daughters (ages 14, 6, 4). His only wish is to survive so he can spend more time with his family.

Zubir; 38, also a pure hearted son, brother, husband and father of 3 (a 7 year old and 3 year old twins) was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer just a few months prior to his brother. He has already been through multiple rounds of chemo and radiation and has left the doctors no choice, but to suggest out of state care as they can no longer offer anything they would consider beneficial.



They come from a hard working, selfless family. I’ve witnessed the immediate family of Seyer and Zubir take on extra loads of work to help support the treatments and families of their brothers as the two are unable to work themselves at this point. Without a single thought, they have collectively carried such a tremendous weight, both emotionally and financially. With the extra work load, it pains me to think about them missing the opportunity to spend what uncertain amount of time they have together as a family.

Their world has shattered and I’m hoping that collectively we can give these two amazing brothers the chance to fight against this terrible disease.

The siblings of Seyer and Zubir have created a specific account in which the donated money will be transferred to. Once the funds have been deposited into this account, they will provide the money to each family via check.
