Support Two EM Residents Injured in the Grand Blanc Tragedy

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, a violent and senseless attack struck The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan. A gunman rammed a vehicle into the building, opened fire, and set the structure ablaze, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries.

Among those caught in the chaos were two emergency medicine residents—young physicians training to serve their communities—who were present at the church. Not only were they victims, but they also sprang into action, helping others amidst danger, smoke, and confusion.

They now face substantial physical, emotional, and financial challenges:
• Medical expenses for treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing care
• Disruption to their training and careers
• Psychological recovery (trauma, counseling, PTSD)
• Basic living costs while unable to work or attend residency duties

We are launching this fund to relieve the immediate burden and give them space to heal and recover without financial ruin.

How Your Support Helps

Every dollar raised will go toward:
• Medical bills, therapies, and rehabilitation
• Mental health care and counseling
• Housing and living expenses while unable to work
• Supporting their residency obligations (e.g. tuition, fees)
• Restoring stability so they can return to serving others

Your contribution, whether large or small, makes a direct impact in their recovery. Even sharing this campaign, sending a message of encouragement, or saying a prayer for those affected helps more than you know.
