My name is Christine and I am a single mother of 4 children.  My eldest and youngest are two young men with a rare disability called Christianson Syndrome.  There are roughly only 100 children worldwide known with this rare disability.  They need around the clock full time care, as they have many physical, health and mobile needs.  Due to this they are in wheelchairs full time which means a special vehicle is required to transport them to various appointments.  Unfortunately the van that I currently have to transport them in is no longer meeting their needs and therefore is rapidly not meeting the current Australian Disability Standards.  Being a single mother who’s job is full time care of her children I am asking for help to get the funds to get the car that is needed for these young men.  The funds required are to purchase the van and any extra modifications needed that NDIS wont fund.   I value any help that you can give me.  Thank you.
