Hey guys! 

We have been on a crazy journey up to this point.  We launched back in July of 2018 having downgraded our dream to make it more attainable, having decided we would make cold brew coffee, try to sell it, and see what could happen.  

In four months, we will have been going strong for two years!  It's hard to believe we are here.  

In January of this year (2020), Amanda & I decided it was time I left my job at a local bank after almost 4 years and pursue coffee with her full time.  

It wasn't long before both the need and the opportunity presented itself to us for a commercial space of our own, outside of our home.  

We have signed a lease, and are in the process of getting it ready to serve the community. 

In the meantime, as you know, COVID-19 has happened, and ironically, has actually worked in a way for us.  We had already been delivering and arranging pick up spots around town.  Additionally, we were planning to continue those services and add curbside once we were open in our shop.  Through the support of other local businesses partnering with us, as well as the community continuing to back us with continued sales and additional giving, we have sustained.  

For that, we are so very thankful.

Nonetheless, we are still climbing toward our financial goals and working to maintain our progress forward.  We have loved serving you all in the ways we have: delivery, farmers' market, pop ups, and through our partners.  But, we still feel like there's more to come - more ways for us to give and serve. 

We have launched this campaign as a way for our friends, family, and Two Birds Flock to be able to lend a hand - to help us build our nest, one twig at a time.  

Your financial support will help Amanda and I buy the necessary materials and equipment, build out our location, and get open, as well as take care of immediate financial needs that might arise.  

We are hoping to be open by summer, and are working towards that goal, even now.  And, though there are other ways to raise money (possibly easier than this...), we believe that there would be no greater reward than to know we worked our tail-feathers off, and we did it with you flying alongside us.

Whatever you can do helps us.  We don't expect much, but we are believing big.  We are sure that we don't deserve this opportunity, certainly not more than anyone else, but we love what we are doing.  We feel it would be an injustice and a shame to have all your support, prayers, kindness, giving, and love be squandered on us not believing in us as much as you all have so far, and for so long.
