Hello, my name is Isabela Ruda, I am from Medellin, Colombia and I am 18 months old.
My twin sister and I were born early at 34 weeks old. When our mother was pregnant with us, I had a severe brain hemorrhage which resulted in me being born with hydrocephalus, grade 3. I had 5 endoscopic ventriculostomies of my third ventricle but they were not effective, these endoscopic vetriculostomes consist of a catheter that goes from my brain to my stomach so that way my body can eliminate the excess cephalic liquid. I suffered damage to the left part of my brain and that is why the right side of my body has very reduced mobility. My parents try their best to take me to the hospital to get these treatments at least twice a month to a clinic called CENPI Neuropediatria Integral in Medellin, but the doctors suggest I go at least twice a week, but unfortunately the amount of treatments really depends on how my parents are doing financially which is often not enough to pay for the various amount of expensive treatments I really need in order to help my body heal. Our financial need has brought me to ask for your help to help my family pay for these treatments which I will need until I am 13 years old. Hola, mi nombre es Isabela Ruda, soy de Medellín, Colombia y tengo 18 meses de edad.

Soy una hermana gemela. Mi hermanita y yo nacimos de 34 semanas de gestación, cuando estaba en el vientre de mi Madre me dio una hemorragia severa en mi cerebro, debido a eso nací con hidrocefália grado 3; me hicieron 5 ventriculostomías endoscopicas del tercer ventriculo, pero esto no me sirvió de nada. Me colocaron una derivación ventricular que es un cateter que va Desde mi cabeza hasta mi estomago para asi poder evacuar El liquido cefalorreico. Sufrí un daño en la parte izquierda de mi cerebro por esto toda la parte derecha de mi cuerpo tiene la movilidad muy reducida y por esto voy a terapia dos veces a la semana a la clínica CENPI Neuropediatria Integral en Medellin para lograr recuperarme. Estas terapias son de integración sensorial y de fonoaudiologia. Estas terapias son demasiado costosas por lo cual solo puedo asistir dos veces al mes. Siempre los neurologos me recomiendan Tomar 2 o 3 por semana pero me es imposible por El alto valor. Por estas razones estamos pidiendo colaboración para ayudar a mi familia pagarme más tratamientos necesarios los cuales tendré que seguir asistiendo hasta los 13 años.
