We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your patience, your understanding, and all the support you have shown us during this time. It truly means so much to us.

We are happy to share some great news: we will be reopening this weekend! We are very excited to welcome you back and share special moments together once again.

Twig and Leaf is a local Highlands staple in the Douglass Loop neighborhood that was established in 1962 and has been serving classic diner style breakfast ever since. For the past few years, Antonio Vasquez and his family have owned the restaurant.

As many of you may have already seen, an automobile crashed in through the front of the restaurant on the evening of March 18th. We are physically okay and keep all those involved in the crash in our prayers. There is significant damage to the restaurant and we need to close for repairs and recovery. We are thankful to God, and for all your well wishes and support at this time. We look forward to serving you again once we are able to open.

We know these are challenging times and if you wish to donate towards repairs, recovery, and/or help bridge the gap of financial loss from closure, we would be very grateful.
