Help dromen uitkomen - Help a dream come true

Hallo allemaal, mijn naam is Ronald en ik ben erg creatief. Mijn hobby's zijn o.a. Laser

graveren en 3D printen. Door die hobby's ben ik in het afgelopen jaar in contact gekomen met twee Oekraïense jongens van 12 en 13 jaar die graag wilden leren hoe dat werkt.

Nu maanden later zijn ze flink op de weg en kunnen ze al behoorlijk met mijn printer overweg. Ook het ontwerpen gaat ze goed af en we naderen het moment dat ze, eigenlijk zelf een printer moeten hebben.

Het zijn vrienden van elkaar maar wonen wel een behoorlijk stuk van elkaar af. In mijn optiek is CNC en ook 3D printen de toekomst op vele gebieden en daarom probeer ik ze op die weg te zetten en ze een voorsprong te geven.

U zult begrijppen dat, na alles wat zij in het afgelopen jaar hebben meegemaakt, het voor mij niet ophoudt bij het leren 3D printen. Ik probeer ze mentaal te begeleiden en bij elk probleem waar ik ze bij kan helpen er voor ze te zijn. Het levert een diepe vriendschap op en dus wil ik ook graag dat ze niet met rommel opgezadeld worden als het gaat om 3D printen.

Het zijn jongens met veel ups en down, en hoe kan het anders. Eerst zelf de bombardementen meemaken, dan vluchten, familie (oma, opa, broers en zussen) achter moeten laten en veel onzekerheid over het lot van die familie. In de stad van één van deze jongens is rond 60% vernietigd. Dan komen ze in een land waarin ze de taal niet machtig zijn geen vrienden kunnen maken en ga zo maar door. Daarnaast is het inkomen niet hoog. Zelfs niet als de moeders erg hard werken want het leven is duur.

Wat probeer te doen is om een financiële basis te leggen voor de aanschaf van een 3D printer voor deze jongens waarbij ze zelf ook een stuk moet meebetalen. Geen zorg dat kan. Maar door een basis te leggen weet ik ook zeker dat ze een 3D printer kunnen kopen waarmee ze echt uit de voeten kunnen zonder steeds tegen enorme problemen aan te lopen.

Ook namens Tymofii en Roman wil ik jullie alvast bedanken voor jullie wil om dit te lezen en natuurlijk nog veel meer als jullie hierin zouden willen meehelpen. Ik zal zeker terugkoppelen hoe het geld wordt uitgegeven en welke printer er gekocht wordt. 3D printers zijn er vanaf ca. 200 euro maar ik zoek dus naar iets beters voor ze en vandaar de crowdfunding. Zelf ben ik helaas werkloos en hoewel wij aardig in deze jongens investeren is dit gewoon teveel voor ons vandaar dat ik u allemaal aanspreek.

Hello everyone, my name is Ronald and I am very creative. My hobbies include laser engraving and 3D printing. Because of those hobbies, I came into contact with two Ukrainian boys aged 12 and 13 last year who wanted to learn how 3D printing works.

Now months later they are well on their way and they can already handle my printer, a Prusa I3 MK3, quite well. They also do well with the design and we are approaching the moment when they should actually have their own printer.

They are friends but live quite a distance from each other when they dis still live in the Ukraine. In my view, CNC and also 3D printing is the future in many areas and that is why I try to put them on that path and give them a head start.

You will understand that after everything they have been through in the past year, learning 3D printing does not stop for me. I try to guide them mentally and to be there for them with every problem I can help them with. It produces a deep friendship and so I also want them not to be saddled with a mess when it comes to 3D printing. So my quest is to ensure both of them to have a Prusa printer.

They are guys with many ups and downs, and how could it be otherwise. First experiencing the bombing yourself, then fleeing, having to leave family (grandmother, grandpa, brothers and sisters) behind and a lot of uncertainty about the fate of that family. In the city of one of these guys, around 60% has been destroyed. Then they arrive in a country where they don't speak the language, can't make friends and so on. In addition, the income is not high. Not even if the mothers work very hard because life is expensive.

What I try to do is to lay a financial foundation for the purchase of a 3D printer for these guys, where they also have to pay a part themselves. Don't worry this is not only possible but important. They need to learn the value of money as well. But by laying a foundation, I am also sure that they can buy a 3D printer that they can really use without always running into huge problems.

Also on behalf of Tymofii and Roman I want to thank you in advance for your willingness to read this and of course much more if you would like to help with this. I will certainly feed back how the money is spent and which printer is purchased. 3D printers are available from around 200 euros, but I'm looking for something better for them and hence the crowdfunding. Unfortunately I am unemployed myself and although we invest quite a bit in these guys, this is just too much for us, which is why I address you all.
