For 15 years, Tuyo Circus Arts has been a pillar of creativity, confidence, and community in Nottingham. We’ve provided a space where children and adults can discover the joy and strength of their own bodies through the magic of circus arts. Now, we need your help.

Why We Need You

Due to the unexpected closure of our long-term home at Iona School, we are urgently searching for a new space that meets the unique needs of our students and performers. Our art form requires height, specialist rigging, and a safe environment for aerial and acrobatic training—securing such a space is extremely expensive.

We are launching this GoFundMe as part of a larger effort to secure a stable and suitable home for Tuyo Circus Arts. While we’re aiming to raise £6,000, this is just one of the ways we’re working towards our goal—we’re also exploring other funding options, running events, and doing everything we can to make it happen. Your support will help ensure we can continue offering classes, training, and opportunities to the Nottingham community and beyond.

Why Tuyo Circus Arts Matters

We are Nottingham’s only circus organization partnered with the National Centre for Circus Arts (NCCA), providing pathways for young people to enter professional circus careers. Through self-funding and partnerships, we are able to offer free and subsidized places for children from low-income backgrounds, refugees, and those with disabilities—because we believe circus should be accessible to everyone.

Our classes foster resilience, creativity, and self-expression while improving physical and mental well-being. From aerial silks to trapeze, from juggling to acrobatics, we provide a fun and engaging alternative to traditional fitness that welcomes all ages and skill levels.
