Recently, my cat Tux went from a completely healthy cat to having a fever of 107 that caused him to have seizures and experience difficulty walking. It’s been a few weeks since his initial admission to the hospital, and he has been showing signs of improvement, but we still have no clue what happened to him or if he’ll make a full recovery.

In order for us to find out, we need to take him to a neurologist and do further testing, which can be costly on its own without the potentially necessary treatment needed following a diagnosis, in consideration.
