As most of you know,  I found Tuukka 3 1/2 years ago,  abandoned in the woods with another pup.  I waited 10 hours with him on the side of sunrise hwy service road until we caught the other pup he was with.  I fell  hard!  He was 50lbs, just skin over bones.  He spent a month in the shelter and no one came for either of them. I eventually adopted him and he became my son.  Fast forward to December 2019, I noticed a lump the size of an egg near his right shoulder.  Biopsy confirmed my worst fear;  soft tissue sarcoma.  We are going ahead with surgery to remove his tumor,  and unfortunately the leg/ shoulder as well.  The cancer has been eating away at the bone.  So far,  all the testing and medicines have totaled $4,731.86. The surgery will be on Thursday,  January 16, 2020. The low estimate is $5,281.90 and the high is $6,663.70. This does not include chemo or radiation after.
