Hi, I am setting this up on behalf of my sister and future brother-in-law.
They got engaged in October 2024 and have been carefully saving and planning for their wedding ever since.
Their wedding was scheduled for April 2027, and they had already paid €8,650 to their wedding planner—more than half of the total cost of their wedding.
Sadly, on 22 May, they received an email from the wedding planning company informing them that it had entered insolvency.
As a result, they have lost the entire amount they paid, with no suppliers having been secured or booked on their behalf.
They are now faced with the devastating reality of having to start their wedding plans from scratch while trying to recover from this significant financial loss.
