I am creating this campaign to support my sister, Sakina Safdari, a 22-year-old student from Afghanistan who has never given up on her dream of education.

Sakina was among the last girls to graduate from high school in Afghanistan before girls' secondary schools were closed. About a year after she received her diploma, the gates of her school were closed indefinitely, and many girls after her lost the opportunity to complete their education.

When Sakina was a child, she lost our father. Despite the financial difficulties our family faced, she always believed that education was the path toward building a better future.

After graduating from high school, she went through a very difficult period. She felt as though her dream of attending university was slipping away. But instead of giving up, she made a promise to herself that her circumstances would not determine her future.

She started learning English online, completed many courses, searched for scholarships, and continued applying for opportunities despite all the challenges. Her hard work finally paid off when she was awarded the Berlian Scholarship to study Computer Science at Nusa Putra University in Indonesia.

This scholarship covers 100% of her tuition fees. However, it does not cover the required costs she must pay before beginning her studies.

According to Nusa Putra University's policy, all first-year international students are required to live in the university dormitory for one year. Because of this requirement, Sakina must purchase the university's official one-year Student Service Package (Package C), which costs $1,466 USD. This package includes her student visa, one year of dormitory accommodation, one year of health insurance, and the required student management deposit.

She also needs approximately $500 USD for her flight from Afghanistan to Indonesia.

Although our family has tried our best to support Sakina's education, these costs are beyond what we are able to afford alone. That is why we are reaching out to kind people who believe in the power of education and opportunity.

Therefore, we are hoping to raise $2,000 USD to cover these essential expenses and help Sakina begin her university journey.

For complete transparency, we have attached her scholarship confirmation email, official university documents, and the breakdown of the required costs. Her admission letter will be issued after the required university package has been paid.
