Help Turkey Recover From Wild Fires
Dear Friends,
I’m sure you have been hearing about the catastrophic fires in Turkey.
This is your chance to help.
We are a group of Turks living in the United States, watching the devastating fires from afar.
Years of corruption left all accountable government institutions dysfunctional and Turkish government is ignoring the scale of the damage to save face. So we help each other.
There are over 100 fires growing rapidly with heat and winds.
We are watching our friends and family get together, form teams, trying to fight the fires themselves.
We are watching a huge portion of the mediterranean ecosystem destroyed, animals die, locals are left without homes, farms, kettle..
They will suffer the consequences long after the fires are over.
That’s why we chose an organization that will help locals long after the media interest, that was there for people before the fires.
So first we have found a trustworthy organization:

Then we have found each other through our individual donation campaigns and joined forces. We teamed up to utilize our network of friends and family to access corporate donation matching campaigns to increase the impact of your donations.
We brought together our campaigns and raised $6000,00. We got a corporate donation match and already donated $12.000,00 to @ahbap.
