Help Tundra Delights Get an Ice Machine

Tundra Delights is in need of an ice machine!

For the last year, Billi has hauled bags of ice herself from AC in order to create the delicious cold drinks Nome has come to love. Hauling ice is not an easy chore. Every few days, Billi has to load up her truck with about 30 bags of ice that weigh 8 pounds each. Then, the ice has to be unloaded at her shop. It is not a small undertaking! Now, Billi faces a new issue. The ice machine at AC is not currently working. Luckily, Nome Public Schools will be donating ice to Tundra Delights in the meantime!

Billi cares deeply for her community. She makes generous donations to Elders, has provided discounts of her products for teachers, fund raises for those in need, and outside of her business, is always willing to help those who need it most. Billi is the definition of a giver, not a taker. In the years I have known her, I have never heard her ask for help.

I’d like to give back to her by relieving her of the financial and physical burden of hauling ice. I am hoping to raise funds for her to purchase an ice machine for Tundra Delights, so we may continue to enjoy iced coffees and Lotuses!
