I first saw Tuna Nubs in my backyard from a distance and, because of her coloring and the nub of her tail, I actually thought she was a bobcat! When I brought out my camera with a zoom lens, I realized Tuna Nubs was not a bobcat at all. She is a sweet tabby cat who has a degloved tail and is in need of help.

Instead of bringing Tuna Nubs to a shelter, I want to make sure she receives the best care possible and then help her find a loving forever home. I’m committed to getting her all the vet care she needs and making sure she’s safe and comfortable until she’s ready for adoption. Right now, she has a cozy shelter in our backyard that we monitor by camera, and we make sure she has high-protein food, fresh water, and even some fun treats like tuna every day.

The funds raised will go directly toward the cost of treating her degloved tail, supplies for her temporary home, and anything extra will be gifted to her future owner for ongoing care or donated to local pet shelters.
