Help Tugboat Find Relief from Painful Skin Condition

This is Tugboat, a former street-cat turned beloved companion. We are reaching out for help with escalating veterinary costs for Tugboat, who has been battling a severe skin condition since being rescued in 2022. Despite numerous vet visits and extensive testing, the underlying cause remains undiagnosed, and recently, his condition has worsened significantly. Large patches of fur are falling out, leaving painful, raw areas that are difficult to manage. His persistent itching and self-inflicted wounds are taking a toll on both his physical and emotional well-being.

In hopes of finding a solution, Tugboat was recently seen by a veterinary dermatology specialist. A biopsy was performed, and samples have been sent for further testing to get closer to a diagnosis. While we wait for results, we anticipate that more procedures and tests may be needed to properly treat his condition and alleviate his suffering.
