Dear Friends and Family,
We are reaching out to share an important update about Tuesday and to ask for your support and prayers during a critical time.
Over the past two years, Tuesday has been walking through a long and difficult health journey. After ongoing symptoms, low blood counts, and extensive testing, she has now been diagnosed with severe Aplastic Anemia — a rare and life-threatening bone marrow failure disorder that affects just 1 in every 1,000,000 people.
In Aplastic Anemia, the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks its own bone marrow, preventing it from producing the blood cells necessary for survival. Tuesday’s bone marrow cellularity — the amount of healthy, functioning marrow — has declined from 45% to just 15% in the last year. For a healthy young woman, cellularity should be between 40–60%. Without urgent treatment, this condition can be fatal.
Her doctors have recommended a bone marrow transplant as the best chance for long-term healing. This will involve a chemotherapy and full-body radiation “conditioning phase,” followed by the infusion of donor stem cells. The post-transplant recovery period will require Tuesday to remain near the hospital for at least 100 days or longer under close supervision.
In a powerful display of God’s provision, when our family moved to North Carolina last July, we unknowingly settled just six hours from Johns Hopkins Hospital located in Baltimore Maryland — the #1 hospital in the world for blood and marrow disorders. We firmly believe God guided that move, preparing the way before knowing what was coming.
How You Can Help
This journey comes with major financial challenges. While Tuesday is insured, many essential costs are not covered, including:
• Medical Expenses – Transplant-related out-of-pocket costs, labs, prescriptions, and post-transplant care.
• Temporary Housing – Temporarily relocating to Baltimore Maryland to stay near the hospital for 100+ days during recovery.
• Travel & Transportation – Ongoing trips to Baltimore and local hospital visits.
• Childcare & Household Support – Tuesday’s two young children will need care and stability while their mom is away.
• Lost Income – I will be unable to work full-time during this period.
• Emergency Needs – Funds for complications, secondary procedures, or unexpected delays.

Our Fundraising Goal: $55,000
We’ve set this goal prayerfully and intentionally to allow Tuesday to focus fully on healing without the weight of financial stress.
Your gift could help with:
• $50 – a tank of gas to get to appointments
• $100 – groceries for the family during recovery
• $250 – a night of housing near the hospital
• $500 – post-transplant medications and care
• $1,000 – major medical needs or travel for a donor

Please Share and Pray
If you’re not able to give financially, we ask for your prayers and to please share this fundraiser with others. Every share helps bring in more support, and every prayer strengthens Tuesday and our family for what lies ahead.
We are trusting in Jehovah Rapha — the Lord who heals — and believing for full restoration. Thank you for walking beside us in faith, hope, and love.
With love and gratitude,
The Pitzer Family
