Hi, we are Pablo Diaz Prado and Thanaporn Putthamalee, and we are raising funds to help Tuenjai, Thanaporn's mom, fight liver cancer.

She was diagnosed with liver cancer a couple weeks ago. What it seemed to be a regular diarrhea turned out to a hospitalization to get some tests done. After two different hospital results, we were notified that she has stage four liver cancer, and we are currently on the waitlist to start the treatment, which should be around first or second week of August if everything goes good.

Tuenjai lives a simple life taking care of the family shrimp farm. She used to wake up early around 3-4am to feed the shrimp, and then get everything ready in the truck to distribute the shrimp bags to the customers, until she was back home after the deliveries around 6-7PM. She was in charge of the whole process and is known in the village for always smiling and making everyone feel happy.

In order to get a hospital that specializes in cancer in the area, we switched her from Chachoengsao, where she usually lives, to Bangkok, the capital, so the treatment can be done faster and with newer machines and techniques. Tuenjai had to stop working completely and her oldest son is currently taking care of her. Both of us are flying to Thailand this Thursday to take care of her and make sure we are on top of everything and keep exploring all the options so we can try to beat the cancer or at least to give her the best possible care we can find.

Currently, the health insurance is covering a maximum of 100,000 Thai baht, approximately $3,000 for a treatment that is expected to be between $25,000 and $35,000. We are working on getting all the funds, but any help would be greatly appreciated and we will use it to pay directly for the treatment, as well all other hospital bills, such as medicines and hospital beds, as they are not included in the treatment.

Also, any positive thoughts, prayers, and good vibes would be great, we take everything positive that comes our way!
