Hello everyone, my name is Camila, and I am the creator of TuckThreads, a brand born from passion, purpose, and the desire to support and empower the transgender community.

We officially launched in January 2025, and like many small, minority-owned brands, our journey has been filled with both beautiful moments and difficult challenges. We started TuckThreads with nothing but a dream and a bank loan that allowed us to create our first collection — a collection designed to give trans women comfort, confidence, and the feeling of being truly seen.

But growing a brand takes time… and resources.

Despite our dedication, we’ve struggled to grow the way we hoped. One of the biggest challenges has been the lack of funding for marketing, which has slowed down our visibility and sales. At the same time, we are still working hard to pay off the loan that helped bring this brand to life.

These two things — not having a marketing budget and carrying a loan — have been our biggest obstacles.
