Tucker is an eleven-year-old American Cocker Spaniel. I rescued him from neglectful owners who admitted they had been neglectful. He's been with me for nearly six years and is my best bud. He's loving, loyal, and playful. He especially loves shaking hands and catching treats.
Unfortunately, he recently grew a mass that rapidly grew and bloated. There are tons of tiny tumors growing underneath it. He has cancer.
While he is too old to undergo chemo, he can still have a life-changing quality-of-life surgery that would prevent me from putting him down while he's still destroying milk cartons, chewing on bully sticks, and going on walks. The problem? It costs over $1000 and that's after money spent on tests and bloodwork.
I really need help with this! I want Tucker to get the surgery he needs so that he can thrive in his last years. He's been my best friend through the worst so is owed the best.
