Help Tucker Family with Funeral Expenses

With a heavy heart I’m sad to share that Carla Tucker (Hall) passed away Monday 12/16/2024, less than three months after Joe. Please consider giving a second donation to help Katie’s family cover the funeral expenses they will have.

Carla will be laid to rest beside her husband, Joe, at Spring Grove cemetery following Visitation from 9-10 am on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at St. Francis Seraph Catholic Church 1615 Vine St, 45202

We all knew the warmth and positivity of Joe and Carla Tucker through their diner. Some of us were raised on Tucker’s food, their kindness and generosity. Others felt lucky to find an authentic OTR treasure that seemed trapped in time. At least, the prices sure seemed to be! They knew what raising prices meant for many patrons. The Tuckers did not make much money, but they never let customers leave hungry. We all benefitted from $5 Big Tucker burgers, comforting breakfast foods, Joe’s warm smile and conversation that welcomed strangers and neighbors alike.
