We are asking for your support to help “TT” — a devoted mother, beloved daughter/grand daughter, loyal sister, aunt, cousin and friend — as she faces a heartbreaking battle with ALS at only 29 years old.
TT’s world was turned upside down in April 2023 when she was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) while 7 months pregnant.
ALS is a rare and terminal neurodegenerative disease that gradually takes away the ability to walk, speak, eat, and breathe. A disease that most commonly affects individuals between 40 and 70, it can occur at younger ages
although It's not common, with only a small
percentage of cases occurring before age 40. The average life expectancy is 3-5 years after given the diagnosis.
Her symptoms began in late 2022 with unexplained falls, pain, and slurred speech. After many misdiagnoses, she finally received the life-altering news no young mother should ever have to hear. Despite her worsening condition, she bravely delivered her premature baby via C-section and continues to care for her two children, now ages 2 and 9, with the help of her devoted mother.
Her condition is progressing rapidly. Now using a wheelchair full-time, relies on speech-assistive devices, and has begun using a BiPAP machine to help with her breathing. She faces mounting challenges every day — physically, emotionally, and financially.
How You Can Help:
We are seeking your help to ease some of the financial burdens she and her family are facing. Donations will go toward:
•Finding A handicap-accessible, one-story home where TT can safely interact with and care for her children
•A wheelchair-accessible vehicle for safe transportation
•Ongoing medical care, equipment, and home assistance
•End-of-life planning, including support for her children, as TT is unable to obtain life insurance due to her diagnosis
No young mother should have to carry this burden alone. Your gift — whether financial, a share, or a prayer — means more than words can express. Every act of kindness helps TT focus on what matters most: Time with her children.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting TT and coming along with her on this unimaginable journey.
