Hello Friends & Family,
My name is Truly Heart & we’ve been rescuing mostly cats and a few dogs for 20 years now.
On Nov. 9, Tsuki, our smaller all-white girl cat, was diagnosed with sinus cancer, a very difficult cancer. Even though she can’t have surgery for it, we still owe $500 USD for the 3 vet visits she has had.
Meanwhile, on Nov. 30, Lazarus, our bigger all-white boy cat, was diagnosed with an aggressive cancerous sarcoma tumor in his back left flank. It’s already 5 inches by 2 inches.
We are just so heartbroken that two of our cats have aggressive cancerous tumors at the same time!
Our main vet referred Lazarus to a specialty surgeon who is 3 hours away. We have the consultation, CT scan & the surgery the same day, December 4 already. This is considered an emergency, and will have to include grafting! But our main vet said Lazarus should have a good outcome after 4 weeks of recovery.
I am not sure what it will cost yet, but our main vet said it would probably be AT LEAST a couple thousand USD. They may be able to break up the payments over about 3 months. So, that being said, we are hoping for at least $1,500 for Lazarus.
This is an extremely difficult time for us, actually in many ways, but we know others are struggling, too.
Therefore, we hope for many to donate even a little, in order to share this cost to save Lazarus’ life.
We appreciate anything and everything from everyone. Thank you from the very bottoms of our hearts.
Those who know us, know that we are genuinely kind and thankful people who absolutely just love our cats.
Thank you more than you’ll ever know.
