We are the Trumbull High School DECA Chapter, a group of passionate students dedicated to excelling in the fields of business, marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. DECA has opened a world of opportunities for us, allowing us to develop essential skills for our future careers. After achieving outstanding success at the State Career & Development Conference/Competition, we are now gearing up for the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Anaheim, California, this April!

Our Story:

At the recent State Conference, our chapter showcased exceptional talent, winning numerous (27!) accolades in a variety of business categories. Our achievements are not just medals and titles; they represent our hard work, dedication, and the invaluable support of our teachers, advisors, and the Trumbull community. Now, we have the prestigious opportunity to represent our school and community on the international stage, competing against and learning from some of the brightest young minds from around the globe.

Why We Need Your Help:

The journey to ICDC is a significant milestone for us, but it comes with its challenges, the foremost being the cost of travel and participation. Because our group is so large (over two dozen!) our fundraising efforts that we already did this year are not going to stretch as far. We are reaching out to our community, friends, family, and anyone who believes in nurturing the potential of young leaders and entrepreneurs, to support us in making this trip possible for every single qualified member. No student should miss out on this life-changing experience due to financial constraints.

How Your Donation Will Help:

Travel Expenses: Airfare, transportation in Anaheim, and accommodation for our members.

Registration Fees: Participation fees for the conference and workshops.

Materials and Resources: Supplies for our presentations and competitions at ICDC.
