Zuri (formerly Truffles) is my 3.5-year-old French Bulldog, and I just took her in last night without knowing her condition. When I brought her home, I was heartbroken to see that she was skin and bones, with untreated sores on her paws. She’s unable to fully sit, which makes me worry that something is wrong with her back legs, hips, or back. Despite everything she’s been through, Truffles is a sweetheart who just needs some love and care.

I am reaching out because Zuri (formerly Truffles) needs urgent medical attention to get healthy again. The funds raised will go directly toward her vet visits, medications, testing, and any potential surgery she may need. Every dollar will help give her a chance at a happy, pain-free life.

update: we decided to give babygirl a new name as she wasn’t responding super well to truffles. We decided she’s a Zuri.

we went to the vet today and learned Zuri has fleas, bloody stool, worms, extremely malnourished and a bone infection in her paw that worsened very quickly. We are trying resolve the infection with antibiotics but unfortunately they can’t guarantee it will work so if it doesn’t she’ll have to amputate that leg we are doing all the steps to get her back in good standing.
