Help Trudy in her journey for an organ transplant

My name is Noelle and I am the support person for my mom in Kamloops, BC Canada.

This fund raiser is to help with the expenses related to her journey for a double lung transplant.

The reason for the funds is that my mom will need to stay near VGH for 4 to 6 months post transplant and she will need me to be her caregiver for 24/7 for 4 to 6 months.

I wish to thank everyone for sharing our story and if you are able to donate to our cause.

UPDATE: August 19th 2020 My mom (Trudy) has been a tough cookie with her three year journey with the Pre-Transplant Clinic at (VGH) Vancouver General Hospital.

As we approach the one year anniversary of starting this Go Fund Me campaign I wish to give the following update:

My mom has completed all of her required medical tests and only one more more HEP B shot left to have all of her vaccinations completed, her dental work was completed in October 2020 so hopefully she will be "activated" and put on the lung transplant list this year.
