Hi my name is Rhonda Smith and I am raising funds on behalf of Trudy Hunter. On February 6, 2024 she was in a horrible car accident. She could have lost her left foot and left arm. So, grateful that she was able to walk away with some serious injuries. She has lost wages due to the accident , needs assist with daily expenses, re: rent, bills etc. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

Update 2/25/2024

Trudy went to the doctor this past Thursday and she was put in a boot. Do not know how long she will have to wear the boot. She is still experiencing a lot of pain in her chest, ankle and left side of her body. She will see the dr in mid March. I ll update if there any changes before then. Update: 3/4/2024

Trudy gave me permission to share some photos. She is still hurting in her ankle and on her left side and in her chest. She is having to wear the boot all day except when she showers and goes to bed. She has to wear a glove on her left hand as well. She still isn’t able to lift or stand for a long period of time so, she can’t do a lot at work still. Update: 3/14/2025

Trudy went to the doctor today for a follow up. She was still having a lot of pain in her chest, around her arm area and her ankle and her leg. As, you know she was put on a boot and had to wear a glove on her hand and she had restrictions at work. Today, at the doctor they did an XRay and found that her tibia bone was broken(after swollenness all went down ). She has to continue to wear the boot and will have to see orthopedic doctor and PT. She still has restrictions to follow for work. Please continue to pray for her as she navigates the next few weeks. Thank you for your prayers.

Update 3/26/24

Trudy saw an orthopedic dr yesterday. She has a clean break in tibia and it’s healing. She now wearing a different brace on her foot. She is still wearing the glove on her hand. She will have to start physical therapy for her foot/ankle but waiting for approval. She is still dealing with pain in her foot/ankle, hand, shoulder, and back. She is still on restrictions for work.
