Troy is in ICU and has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome along with a concussion.

On Saturday Troy had a skiing accident where he hurt his head and back. A couple days later he was evaluated and diagnosed with a concussion at JCMC and released home. The following day Troy also began developing numbness in his legs and feet which we now know is unrelated to the accident but likely to a previous illness. He was transported by ambulance to Johnson City Medical Center. Troy has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome along with a concussion and is currently in ICU Niswonger Children's Hospital.

Recovery from Guillain-Barré Syndrome is anticipated to be a lengthy process, spanning several weeks to months. During this challenging period, we kindly ask most of all for your thoughts and prayers for Troy and his family.
