We are heartbroken to share the devastating news of the passing of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Troy Knutson-Collins (age 28), one of the four brave soldiers who lost their lives in Lithuania after their M88 Hercules armored vehicle tragically became submerged in a bog while executing a recovery mission. Troy was not only a dedicated servicemember but also a loving husband to Aryelle Knutson-Collins and a devoted father to his young children.

Troy dedicated his life to serving his country with honor and courage. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and friends. His sudden passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of those who loved him most—his wife Aryelle, their children, and the many friends and family members mourning this profound loss.
